Nuestra Senora con El Nino

Acrylic on canvas, wood, tin, caulk
Date/Size: February 2009/24x48 inches

This painting is heavily influenced by the Cuzco School of Painting which began in Peru in the 16th Century. My work often falls somewhere between folk art and fine art… a place that I love. The frame is an integral part of this piece and is made from wood, galvanized tin flashing, and caulk.
