Oil on canvas I like to paint places with long spiritual histories — places that have been home to seekers of all sorts. Rugby, TN is a well-preserved pioneer settlement of English people who built this little Anglican church which is still in use. I found it basking in Sunday afternoon sun, obviously a beloved, well-tended place of the spirit. |
