I made this quilt because this was how I felt at the time: swirling, whirling, and out of control. Yet I had a sense, a faith that God could make something whole where I saw only confusion. And God has.

I made this quilt at a time which turned out to be the beginning of a spiritual journey. This quilt was also a great experiment and new direction for me in terms of the intensity of the colors. God's own creative spirit makes possible my life, my soul, my creativity.
