A triptych designed in the narrative style, using methods and materials common to medieval manuscript illumination. An orb approaches the head of the seeker, coming closer and finally resting as a nimbus, crowning the seeker in glory. The piece was inspired by St. Theophan the Recluse's writings, Turning the Heart to God, which have recently been translated into English and are finally available through Concilliar Press.
