The Prayer of Amos

This calligraphy came to light some thirty-five years after Harvey Guthrie brought the text to the attention of his students of the Hebrew Bible at the Episcopal Divinity School, Cambridge, MA in 1962. Professor Guthrie commended it as a prayer of Jews in the Holocaust; I consider myself privileged to present it devotionally as well as artistically.

Esta caligraffa salio a la luz, aproximadamente 35 anos despues que Harvey Guthrie presento el texto a sus estudiantes de la Biblia Hebrea. Sucedio esto en la Escuela Episcopal de la Divinidad en 1962 en Cambridge, MA.
