Griffin
Logue
This
photograph was taken in Savannah's famed
Bonaventure cemetery. The angel is
guarding over a grave, holding a
font-like shell. She reminds me of the
prayer from Compline, my favorite prayer
of the hours, which says, "give your
angels charge over those who sleep."
While in the prayer it means those who
are asleep for the night, here it means
those asleep in Christ, awaiting the
resurrection.
Griffin Logue is 14 years old and an
avid photographer. She processes and
prints her own black and white film.
Griffin is a freshman in high school.
She wants to become a magazine
photographer.
