Gracie Bell
This past
summer my parish, Emmanuel Episcopal,
held our first traditional Anglican
Evensong in honor of Mother Mary. For
this service, I wanted to create an
arrangement that was even more involved
and beautiful than previous
arrangements. The arrangement was
constructed so Mother Mary was
completely surrounded by flowers. I
wanted it to look like she was nestled
into a beautiful English garden.
I am currently finishing my Master's
Degree in child development at Auburn
University. I have become involved in
the Flower Guild where we strive to
enhance every service with beautiful
flowers. Flowers not only physically
enhance the beauty of our nave, but
also remind us of the beauty and
perfection of God's creation.
