Joseph Presley
(JPresley)

Glory to God whose power, working in us, can do infinitely more than we can ask or imagine: "Glory to him from generation to generation in the Church, and in Jesus Christ for ever and ever. Amen." Ephesians 3:20-21, from Morning Prayer I.

I was so moved by the magnificence of the Cathedral, with its magnitude as an architectural masterpiece and its significance as a national symbol of spirituality, I couldn't help but try to capture it on paper.

JPresley grew up in New Orleans and Madrid, Spain, and studied at the McCready School. He attended Sewanee where he earned an Economics degree. After graduating from the University of the South, Presley moved to Nashville, Tennessee, where he has lived for 32 years. He has had a lifelong passion for watercolor considering his time with the easel his "sanctuary."
