Vanessa Wells

I used a teenaged model to represent the youth and innocence of Mary, thus focusing more on the miraculous nature of our Lord's birth. Her presence in the messy, mundane and very human world also highlights her holiness and that of the Christ child born into a sinful world, which he is come to save.

My name is Vanessa Wells. I am an Anglican (Episcopalian) at the Anglican Church of St. Clement in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. I am also a final year Master of Theological Studies student at Wycliffe College, Toronto. In addition,  I encourage other artists to take a look at the following website: www.beautifulfeet.ca.
