Barbara Presnell is a graduate of the University
of North Carolina at Greensboro and the University of
Kentucky. Her poems have appeared in numerous literary
journals and collections. Barbara won the 2004 Linda
Flowers Prize from the North Carolina Humanities
Council, and the Brockman-Campbell Book Award and the
Oscar Arnold Young Book Award. She has published three
books of poetry.
