Artist Statement: The face of Christ surrounded by the four Gospel creatures. He is in all of creation, He is in all words, he is Spirit and all seeing. We respond with out interior yearning to be understood and understand. Icons are fully appreciated when contemplated, this takes time and focus. I think this is why they are so powerful to have one in your home standing quietly waiting to be seen.
