entitled "Great Expectations" with the pregnant Mary carrying the infant Jesus
in her womb. The figures around her reflect the range of our human response to
this event two thousand years ago and even unto today. Some sleep. Some turn
away and are unsure. Some glow with love and faith. Despite our human response
that may fall short, the spirit of God is with us, touching us in unseen ways,
both in the darkness and the light. |
