Wisdom of God
June 20, 2006

Sitting in the beautiful Asticou Azalea Garden
on my Mt. Desert Island home on the coast of Maine, I know how God speaks to me; surrounded by rocks, crashing surf and quiet pines.

What a wonderful experience it has been for me to be pushed out of my place and learn how God speaks to other artists, to learn what he says and how His words are translated into their visions.

It has taught me about widening my own vision and that there is more than one perfect spot on this earth. I think to myself: what would God say to me if I lived where my fellow artists live, in the high mountain peaks or the sunny, warm south?

This journey has been wonderful for me. I look through my camera lens with a broader eye: how can I do an icon with camera and film? I can all but try.
