We Beheld His Glory

We Beheld His Glory (John 1:14)

The theme for the exhibit, "Out of Darkness into Light," made me think immediately of John 1:14: "And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth." I reflected on how good it was that the people of his time were able to see and touch Jesus, and that made me wonder how we could experience Christ in the same way. "We Beheld His Glory" shows how we get to "taste and see that the Lord is good." In the Eucharist we get a glimpse of the glory of Christ.
